Four Astros were selected Carlos Correa, Jose Altuve, Michael Brantley, and Ryan Pressly but none decided to attend for many reasons. Generally speaking, the All-Star Game has lost plenty of its luster in recent years. The Home Run Derby is arguably the best event to watch during the break, especially when stars like Shohei Ohtani and Pete Alonso participate.
